===
[00:00:00] Got a question from a viewer. I recently started a position in hand therapy. I have no training. I'm the only ot. I've been using your page as guidance. Most of your programs seem like it mainly refers providers already practicing in hand therapy and need to start studying for the exam. I'm a hundred percent new and.
[00:00:19] Where do I even start? Well, first of all, congratulations on that job, and second, thanks for watching. This is what I would recommend. I would recommend starting inside the mentorship program. That's where we can help you know what to do with your cases, what kind of treatments you can provide. We go over anatomy and protocols for you, but it is not in as great of a detail as an exam prep program.
[00:00:44] You wanted this position in hands. Now, let's help you feel successful in that position. It's about knowing what to do, how to provide the. Treatment is a safe place to ask questions, be it via email or during calls. Get the support that you need. I'm not gonna just tell [00:01:00] you what to do. I'm gonna teach you in a way that helps you understand, so you're able to apply it from patient to patient to patient.
[00:01:06] There's a huge learning library. That you can do at your own pace, where you can look up diagnosis, you can look up how to videos, and we've got all topics, hands to shoulders, wound care to splint. We have, believe it or not, a lot of beginners inside the mentorship program just like you, uh, we all have to start at the same place at the beginning.
[00:01:29] No one gets a skip steps. And besides as an ot, I believe that you do have experience somewhere else and you've got to make sure that you are counting that. For yourself. So if this sounds like you, then click the link and or send me a dm.
